'The person that turns over the most rocks wins the game'

I’m a full-time equity fund manager. This means I look at lots of publicly listed companies and try to profit from them by finding undervalued opportunities and a reason why they should (start to) move in the right direction. It’s similar to a full-time treasure hunt.

I started my career in Corporate Finance, analyzing and valuing private companies, doing lots of financial modelling and working very long hours. At some point I discovered that it was much more interesting and fun to apply my skill-set to public companies. Most importantly, I never finish to learn something new. I also discovered that it’s often difficult for non-financial friends and family to understand what I’m doing all day; hence this blog.
